SUITER FAMILY FORUM & NEWSLETTER?

i am still on the investigation of location, and cataloging my family histoy.

i was looking through some old papers i have with family names on them, and came across a set of papers my grandmother had given to me (via mail) with a family history newsletter for the SUITER clan.

were in a different day and age now, and so seeing if theres a FAMILY FORUM, or a centeral place online, seemed like the thing to do.
so, i punched in Google: SUITER FAMILY

and came up with a web page:

http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/l/o/e/Joan-Loete/index.html

and on it is this information:

"Suiter Family Association

Updated March 6, 2002

The Suiter Family Association was formed to promote and foster the kinship of Suiters and related families, to share the heritage of the suiter family with all who are interested, to link Suiter researchers.

It was formed in June 1983 at a reunion in Salt Lake City. A quarterly newsletter is published, featuring news about Suiters past and present. All spelling of the name - Suter, Sooter, etc. - are covered.

A reunion is held each year in a different location. The 2002 Suiter reunion will be in Wichita, Kansas July 5th, 6th,&7th. Contact Elnora Campbell at 825 Abilene, Valley Center, Kansas 67147 for more information about the reunion.

For more information about the Suiter Family Association, contact
Joan Loete, 416 - 29th Avenue Dr., Moline, IL 61265. Email: Anniejo60@aol.com."

noting the last update was in March of 2002, im a bit worried this individual isnt around anymore, but i mailed her an email just in case:

"im hoping altho, the web site says the last update to the GENEALOGY.com SUITER FAMILY was in march of 2002, that you still alive and will be able to read this.
I am related to the SUITERS, through my grandfather WILBUR RAYMOND SUITER, married my grandmother: Gertrude Louisa, Eldred.

I am very interested in doing the family history for this side of my family.

if the newsletter isnt active anymore, id like to see if there was a way I could manage a web presence for the SUITER clan, and have a central hub (or location) online for the Suiters to come for information, and family history updates.

I hope this email finds you well.

hope i get a reply back.
id love to run a family site for my grandparents (more my grandfathers) side of the family.
it would be an honor.

UPDATE:
as suspected i got the return email as UNDELIVERED.

"This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of
its recipients. The following addresses failed:

SMTP error from remote server after RCPT command:
host mailin-04.mx.aol.com[205.188.157.18]:
550 5.1.1 : Recipient address rejected: aol.com"

so, it looks like i will have to form my own newsletter now, i have NO IDEA how to do this idea.
and contact every SUITER, or related family to any SUITERs that i am currently in touch with.
to pull this family tree back together into one place.

sounds easy. but it really isnt.

where theres a source of family history and genealogy online, contacts to people are very difficult. im very fortunate i have what i have.

*sigh* where to begin?
